iOS 6 Update Review

Apple announced iOS 6 in WWDC-2012 with plenty of new  features for iPhone and iPad. iOS 6 is now available for developers.  

Features of iOS 6:

1. Maps - Apple designed it's own Maps with complete new look and graphics. Maps features include Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Traffic, Flyover, 3D Maps, Local Search &  Siri support to maps.

2. Siri - Now Siri can find Restaurants, Movies, Sports for you. You can launch any app with Siri. Supports more languages. You can tweet and also post to facebook with Siri.

3. facebook integrated - iOS 6 is tightly integrated with facebook. You can share photos right from your camera. You can like apps in appstore & like songs or albums in itunes. Siri can post status messages or comments to facebook.

4. FaceTime - Now facetime works on cellular networks too. You can even receive and make calls on iPad using your phone number.

5. Phone - Apple added a new feature to phone calls. Whenever you receive a call you can send a message as reply or set a reminder to call back or you can put your phone to DND (do not disturb) mode.

6. Safari - Now you can save web pages for offline viewing and surf in full-screen mode. Using icloud tab you can browse from where you left off.

iOS 6 is available for iPhone (3GS, 4G, 4S),  iPod 4G, ipad 2,3 Some features are not available for older devices. For example Siri is not available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and ipad 2

Sync ipod or iphone Music to itunes

Using itunes you can sync music files to your ipod. What if you freshly installed your itunes software? Again you have to sync your music files to itunes library.. If you want to update or sync your ipod or iphone music to itunes music library follow this procedure...

1. Connect your iphone or ipod to your pc or notebook
2. Go to my computer open ipod drive
3. Go to Tools in menu bar, click on folder options, click on view tab and select view hidden folders and files.
4. Then you'll see ipod control folder. Open the folder and go to music folder
5. All the folders that you see in music folder is your music
6. Now create a new folder somewhere on desktop and copy all the folders from music folder to the new folder.
7. Open itunes software go to edit and click on preferences 
8. Go to advanced tab select keep itunes music organized and go to itunes music location
9. Now open my documents, my music, itunes and itunes music
10. Now copy all the music folders in the new folder on desktop to itunes music folder
11. Click on each folder properties you copied to music folder and uncheck the hidden option.
12. Finally go to itunes software click on file menu, click on add folder to library and select the itunes music folder and select the folders you want to add. That's all, itunes adds those folders to the library

iPhone 5 Rumors

Apple released iphone 4S in Oct 2011 with revolutionary voice control software siri. On the other hand preparations for Apple's next gen iphone is gearing up. Already rumors about Apple's next gen iphone spreading across the web.

Launch Date - According to sources Tim Cook visited a production plant in china. Plans to appoint 20000 more workers in the plant. The release of iphone 5 could be in 2nd quarter of this year.

Display - Usually the iphone's screen size is 3.5 inches but iphone 5 may get 4.6 inches screen with retina display. Perhaps coming iphone may have A5X chip for much better performance.

3D Camera - New patent filed by apple hint that there could be a possibility of 3D camera for next gen idevices. According to patent 2 sensors deal with colors and middle one handles the brightness.

                 

4G LTE.  with the next generation wireless technology the new ipad supports fast cellular networks so you can browse the web, stream and download videos at amazing speeds. Smaller Dock for charging & data transfers.

The New ipad Review

This month Apple released New ipad (ipad 3) with brand new features like -Retina Display, 5MP isight Camera, Ultra-fast 4G LTE., A5X  Chip quad-core. 




Retina Display with sharp razor text, vibrant colors and 3.1 
million pixels. 2048x1536 resolution, That's four times the number of pixels in ipad 2 and a million more pixels than a HDTV, in the same 9.7 inches display. The pixels are so closer together, your eyes can't discern individuals at a normal viewing distance.

5MP isight Camera with advanced optics, illumination sensor, auto white balance, face detection and 1080p HD recording. With built-in face detection it can detect up to 10 faces.

Ultra-fast 4G LTE. with the next generation wireless technology the new ipad supports fast cellular networks so you can browse the web, stream and download videos at amazing speeds.

A5X  Chip with quad-core graphics drives the four times pixels of ipad 2 but delivers same smoothness and fluidity ipad is known for. Even with these advanced features the new ipad gets an aamzing 10 hours battery life.



Apple has it's own brand name in tablets industry. Apple set a record by selling over 3 millions ipads in launch week. Though features wise it sounds good according to some sources because of high resolution and graphics  it has  heat problem but experts say it was slight more compared to android tablets.

Apple plans to use hydrogen batteries allowing iPhones and iPods to hold a charge for WEEKS. Batteries as you know them may become a thing of the past for your Apple products as the company hopes to use hydrogen cells to produce lighter batteries that could last for weeks. 

The company is staying on the cutting edge as they have recently submitted applications for patents to create new energy sources for their products. The filings that the company submitted seem to have rather bold promises of allowing electronics to run for days or weeks with one time charge.
