I think all of you might have unique username/id for your facebook profile or fan page eg: facebook.com/anilanvesh or facebook.com/techguide. Where as your google+ profile id is very long & a bit tougher to remember eg: plus.google.com/118075922056762559412/.
If you want to get vanity url for your google plus profile go to gplus.to and enter your desired username and your google+ profile id and click on add. That's it your google+ vanity url is created which will be redirected to your google+ profile. For example this is my vanity url gplus.to/anilanvesh
